General Questions/New to Joomla! 5.x • Account registration page not showing

I’m using Administrator registration on Joomla 5.2.0 but the registration page is not being shown when ‘don’t have an account’ is pressed if the username field is empty. Instead of showing the registration page the login page remains shown with ‘Please fill in this field’ in red above the Username field. The registration page is shown correctly if something is entered in the Username field before pressing ‘don’t have an account’ or it is pressed twice.

Is there a way of preventing this from happening?
