Migrating and Upgrading to Joomla! 4.x • upgrade 4.4.8 to 4.4.9 fails with no error message

I am attempting to update from 4.4.8 to 4.4.9. Any insight would be appreciated. When I try to update I get

Server error
Joomla Update encountered a server error when applying the update to your site.

Your site may not have been upgraded completely to the new Joomla version.

In the update log I see this:
